A movie starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost about two nerds on a road trip with an alien, and also Jason Bateman and Kristen Wiig are in it and it was directed by the guy who made Superbad? Sure! This guy knows what I’m talking about.
Apparently there is a huge backlash of this film in the Alien community. They saw how they were represented in the film and were apPauled.
Sure. Anyway, E.T. came out 27 years ago, and this alien doesn’t look half as convincing. I know it’s a comedy, and laffs and whatnot, but can we please agree that Gollum aside, CG characters don’t look right interacting with live actors?
No Meatballs 2 love, eh? I’ll show myself out.
And also Jane Lynch?
Yeah, I though that too and IMDB confirmed it. Fun fact: Jesse Plemons is also in it!
Less fun fact: Jesse Plemons is also in Battleship, which means between Landry and Riggins, we are now required by Coach to watch Battleship?
No, Rhianna cancels them out
And Vampire Eric. I’ll be at the midnight show.
not shown- McDonald’s Dance Sequence
also not shown: wheelchair scene. Paul to the rescue!
Well, sure, when you say it like that it sort of makes it sound pandering and kinda half-assed. You have to say it like this: “Pegg! Frost! Bateman! Wiig! This summer, it’s not Paulitics as usual!” Then it sounds totally sweet.
“My name is Paul… and this is between y’all.”
They had so much fun making it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEXHD3RBjw8&feature=related (didn’t we see these on videogum anyway?)
Joe Lo Truglio for all the wins!
Is Sigourney Weaver contractually obligated to be in every an all movies featuring aliens (Alien, Avatar, You Again)?
And Galaxy Quest and kinda sorta Ghostbusters
I wish Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were actually in love and a couple and then got married.
Well, those fanfictions aren’t going to write themselves.
Actually, they kinda are: http://www.edgarwrighthere.com/2009/10/20/the-steamy-hot-fuzz-slash-fiction-tweets-october-19th-2009/
Pegg and Frost get a free pass for life because of Spaced. I only wish they would get Jessica Hynes a prominent role in one of their movies.
This looks like the funniest alien comedy since “Communion”.
