Apparently there is a huge backlash of this film in the Alien community. They saw how they were represented in the film and were apPauled.
Sure. Anyway, E.T. came out 27 years ago, and this alien doesn’t look half as convincing. I know it’s a comedy, and laffs and whatnot, but can we please agree that Gollum aside, CG characters don’t look right interacting with live actors?

Well, sure, when you say it like that it sort of makes it sound pandering and kinda half-assed. You have to say it like this: “Pegg! Frost! Bateman! Wiig! This summer, it’s not Paulitics as usual!” Then it sounds totally sweet.
