This video was originally posted in 2006 and has well over 300,000 views, making it kind of old news in terms of CUTTING EDGE pop culture BLOGGING. But it, like The Wire without a laugh track, is great. So, if you have a problem with me posting this, I definitely recommend that you meet me in the dirt lot next to Prop Joe’s Microwave Repair Store because I’ve got a lesson about how there is no nostalgia in this shit right here to teach you. It will only take a second. (Via TheWorldsBestEver.)

  1. “this is me. this is what i write”

  2. Much funnier than Bubs’s (laugh) track lines.

  3. Should of used the Where’s Wallace scene instead…wait

  4. So the FCC just gave up?

  5. “Funniest show since Married… With Children!”–You, just now.

    • From the video maker: “Several people have asked where I got the laughs from – I actually recorded them all from a single episode of Married With Children, which should show how ridiculous the laugh track was in that show.”

      Oof.

  8. Might I take a moment to point out that the rat lady, Dianne Rochenski, may or may not be a new monster?

  9. The Wire with a laugh track is precisely as funny as The Big Bang Theory with a laugh track.

  10. I liked the ”Sympsonize The Wire” project better.

  11. Bodie was on Detroit 187 last night (a show that i’m contractually obligated to watch since I live near Detroit but isn’t really that bad…). During the show they kept saying “bubbles”…but they were referring to a car wash. this made me happy. and it looked like bodie might be a recurring character which means i’ll get the chance to stalk him in detroit and get my own “gabe & someone from the wire” picture. only with myself instead of gabe.
