I’ve recently become obsessed with these podcasts that seem to just rotate the exact same guests. I’ve stopped listening to music in my car and just pick a podcast for my commutes.

I listen to all those except Never Not Funny, for financial reasons (I don’t have finances currently). “Comedy & Everything Else” also has a lot of the same guests.
And Tom Scharpling’s “The Best Show on WFMU” has MANY appearances and call-ins from a bunch comedians. Paul F. and John Hodgman almost seem like regulars.
No The Sound of Young America? (the current ones, but maybe even more the archives before it was on PRI and there was sort of no limit on time/content?)
After watching Death Sentence, a terrible movie starring Kevin Bacon as a father in search of vigilante justice directed by Saw's James Wan, Gabe embarked on The Hunt For The Worst Movie of All Time. This is his sad journey.
Marc Maron’s podcast is the best.
I credit the WTF? and Comedy Death Ray podcasts for giving me a whole new appreciation of standup comedy and the comedians who stand up.
In fact, if it wasn’t for his many wonderful characters on CDR, I may not be going to see Paul F. Tompkins in two weeks!

Yes! I just finished Louie and needed more Louis CK in my life.
THE DAY IS SAAAAAVED!
For any Austin Monsters who care, Maron is doing a live WTF at The Parish on Oct. 18th.
I thought it would never happen! I haven’t even listened to this yet, but I already know…. if this podcast were a pie, James Franco would love it.
If this podcast were a pie, there definitely wouldn’t be any left for Norah Jones at the end of the night.
This is a very good listen. You should hear it!
episode 2 is up today.
