I’m from Texas, so we only know about book burnings. Not book-giving-outings.
But guys books are so lame, we have to read Tuck Everlasting now for Mrs. Jenkins’ class and uuuggghhhh so boring, where are the robots and the race cars guys.

I would love to join, but I just started Grad School… I don’t think I’ll have time. If the books ever coincide, however, I’m in. Any plans to read Mencius? Anyone?

I do. And everyday I suffer.
Also, like topknot, I will have difficult times being a grad student and reading, but I’ll do my best. Maybe if Bookgum includes some books on ocean acidification and stress physiology then I’ll be able to participate.
i have already suggested the DSM-IV. i find that i need to read fun fiction (the nerdier, the better) to wake me up in between research articles.
If it would not be so odd, I would try and hug my coworkers at this most glorious news. Yay bookgum!

No–you want to use Geoslab, 13 point. It looks the same almost and gives you an extra page and a half on a 10 page paper.
Honestly, I don’t even know if they make Geoslab anymore. I used Word 6.0 in college. And a dot matrix printer.

I’m guessing it’s For Monsters By Monsters. Somehow For Men By Men was the first thing that came to mind, but since this isn’t The Daily Show and we’re not in a kitchen, I figured it was most likely Monsters. (Don’t ask me why The Daily Show reference was the first sexist thing that came to mind.)

This is great, because I watch SO MUCH TV, some of it for no other reason than to talk about it on the internet, that I have fallen way behind on my reading. I just hope this still leaves me enough time to keep up with my TV, because those Food Network reality shows are not going to watch themselves.
