Seth MacFarlane is the creator of Family Guy and American Dad and most recently Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Comedy, an online series in which he barfs out all the jokes he couldn’t use in his previously mentioned two projects, as if those two shows had a particularly high standard of joke quality to begin with. His shows are farty and redundant and unfunny, and this has made him a millionaire. More power to him. Seriously. You can’t hate a guy for being a millionaire. He didn’t unfairly create millions of dollars. He created garbage, and then that money was given to him. Blame yourselves. Man, there are so many crappy millionaires out there, you guys. I’m just waiting for crappymillionairegum.com to launch and then I’m out of here.

Anyway, as a promotion for Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Comedy, which is sponsored by Burger King, Seth MacFarlane is holding what has to be the single worst contest in the history of contests. Not only is it miserable and sad and the worst, but it also encapsulates everything about Seth MacFarlane.

It’s the “Buy Seth Dinner Sweepstakes.” Click to enlarge.

One lucky “winner” will be granted the opportunity to BUY SETH MACFARLANE DINNER AT BURGER KING. Not only is everything about that the worst, but the way this contest is described, with the constant refrain of “you still end up on top,” just UGH. Stop saying that, this contest. You don’t end up on top. You end up at the very, very bottom. I would buy Seth MacFarlane dinner at Burger King if he would QUIT.

You can enter here. Or you can end it here.

  1. “in the end, you’re still a power bottom.”

i would have liked that (truer) statement better.

    • Indeed, Gabe is in his early 50′s and Lindsay is still a tween, so Family Guy is clearly lost on them. Me, I entered the contest because a Whopper value meal is a small price to pay for the opportunity to personally tell Seth MacFarlane he sucks.

    • untrue. Family Guy at best could have seen as fresh and funny when it first aired or (maybe if you’re verryy generous) during the first two seasons. The humor quickly got stale and the jokes, even when you get the references, are not close to funny. Most of what he relies on now is shock value. And whatever tiny enjoyment could be sucked from any of the episodes was completely destroyed by the “Cartoon Wars” episodes of South Park.

Did you know that Seth McFarlane is dating Amanda Bynes? Now thats the worst.

  8. Of course I’m entering. Where else could I buy food and then immediately throw it at a complete hack?

    • I hate it because the jokes are bad. I loved it when I was 17; so did a lot of other people. now a bunch of people still like it and I find it stupid and boring. my sense of humor evolved and family guy did not.

  12. I liked Family Guy when it first came out, but that was mainly because I was eleven. Since then I’ve always assumed that that was the audience that the show was originally intended for.

And yes, hating Family Guy makes you a pretentious indie asshole sheep zombie out of touch elitist intellectual something or other.

Jesus Christ, I can’t wait for the spoof movie hate backlash.

Hey, for a mentally challenged guy

I think Seth has done so-so.

  20. Hey, remember that one time I made a joke about Family Guy and then everyone around me cried because I insulted their only way of picking up drunk college chicks at parties? “Hey, remember that episode of Family Guy where he told a random joke that was so hilarious that I completely forgot about it as soon as the magic seeing box went blank? Let’s go fuck.” And remember that one time they told a hilarious joke about that one time that Peter had this hilarious encounter in some hilarious fashion? Hahaha, I so totally remember it. And remember that one time someone pulled out a gun and shot themselves because they couldn’t remember that one time that I remembered but no one else remembered.

Anyway, remember that one gay fucking show everyone watched and thought it was good then they graduated from college/high school and realized that all they can remember about it is how bad it sucked? Well, you will.
