The piece in Esquire about this is excellent. It’s written by the same guy who wrote the awesome thing on Roger Ebert earlier this year. If that’s any extra incentive to read it.
Aaaah. The article is Esquire is terrible! I mean, the story itself is very interesting, but I find the article poorly written and very confusing in its strange mish-mash of two stories. The text formatting doesn’t help, either. I barely got through it (and I skipped some chunks that seemed irrelevant).

I printed it out like the fifty-six-year-old dad that I am. That helped.
As for the mish-mash, I think it’s a tough story to tell. Jones makes a choice in the frame to believe the Kniesses’ story that they didn’t cheat, but then still has to present the evidence of Ted the Guy in the Audience. I like the frame because I’m more interested in Terry Kniess than I am in just what happened on TPIR that day.
You should read the whole thing.
I agree, Trevor! It’s sort of like a geriatric David Lynch movie. There are two storylines and we may never know which one is TRUE TRUTH!!!

I wonder if Topher Grace is hungover? I tried to call him to wish him a happy birthday but AT&T service sucks in Chicago, as everywhere else I’m sure. What’s the point of having “4G” if they damn phone reception never works, and makes it impossible to find a nearby Starbucks? You know what else? I saw AL Roker mentioning that it’s going to get over 90 degrees again. Ugh, at least I can look forward to watching FNL tonight with my culturally diverse set of friends. I am as exited as the Double Rainbow Guy.
