Jesse Plemons (Landry Clarke on Friday Night Lights) is in an actual band called Cowboys and Indians, who performed on the morning news show in Austin last week. Remember when him and Tyra MURDERED A DUDE?!

Why is it that I live in Austin and do not have any idea when ANYTHING happens here? Topher Grace was filming Predators and I missed it, Will Ferrell played baseball, missed that, and now this! I am an embarrassment to my city for not knowing about anything.
Well, for the love of God, don’t miss this!

I wouldn’t if someone had told me! Next time, tell me, someone!
We just decided on Friday and I left a message on Monster’s Ball. I’m sorry you didn’t see it
Eh, it’s okay, next time make it a weekend, yo!
“Their main influences are Patsy Cline, Portishead and MIA.” Um, what???
My bands main influences are Hank Williams, Joy Division, and Cypress Hill.
Mine are Tori Amos, Fergie, and Jimmy Buffett.
Let’s play a show together. I’m sure the Bean would be down for it. It actually concerns me how well your band might do in Burlington…
Myabe I should quit my job and make the band a reality – I could find a pianist, a trampy whore, and a parrot on Church St. by noon. I never make it to the Bean because I see the OP, and it calls me, and I must heed the call…
Do it! I like that some people probably assume it’s a joke that you could find all three by noon on one street, but nope, you could actually find about six trampy whores and two parrots. I understand the call of the OP, but what you’re also probably responding to, even if subconciously, is the smell of the Bean repelling you into the OP.
I’m definitely not cool enough for the Bean, and everyone knows it. I’m not really cool enough for the OP, either, I’ve just never gone sober enough to actually register that.
Mine are John Baptiste Philouza, Pete Seeger and Aaron Carter
Good to know!
Okay, that’s just cruel. How you gonna delete a spam comment, leaving me with a foolish comment here that makes no sort of sense out of context?
“you wouldn’t know any of our influences, their mostly german.”
Here they are with Landry on the left! Making the morning news rounds for real.

More like Newsboy, Indian and San Franciscan.
I saw Jesse Plemons at a Yeasayer show one time, and he was totally rocking the tweed cap AND he was also smoking a pipe. It’s all apart of the new “1920′s Newsie/bootlegger” fashion trend going on in Texas.
The Walkmen! Sweet.
a nice song… better than i’d expected.
