What’s The Dinner Game? Oh, sorry, I only know it by its French title, Les Affaires de Famille.
I choose to believe it was ripped from the episode where Eddie wanted to get into a fraternity, but he had to bring a nerd to a party to be mocked, so he brought Urkel, but then realized their friendship was more important than a frat. That’s probably where the French got it from, too.
Oh, I thought you meant the episode where the sorority had a Bring A Nerd Party and all the hot girls brought Steve and his friends and in the end, they were all told off by Laura, and everyone felt bad.
Yeah, they weren’t great at not recycling plots. But I guess a rehashed plot is still better than a new one that involves time travel and pirates.
As someone who used to set up his VHS+ on Friday evenings in HS because of football, your knowledge of the TGIF ABC lineup never ceases to amaze me facetaco. Do you remember Teen Angel?
I DO, mostly because I think Jerry Van Dyke was in it? Probably. He was in pretty much every sitcom in the 90s.

I almost wet my pants with joy when Steve Carrell suggested they resolve their conflict the old-fashioned way. But then I didn’t. Because I am a grown-up and not Hugh Jackman.
I hope Jon Stewart is ok, locked in the studio presumably with 30 women.
