Here is a supercut of references made to Wang Chung on TV and in the movies. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m here to make friends! (And keep your eyes out for an Easter Egg for the superfans.)
Yup. Those were definitely a bunch of references to Wang Chung on TV and in the movies. People sure do love that joke! And the best part of this video is: it’s Friday. Everybody have fun to[gunshot]. (Via Wang Chung.)

Wow, a full work-week is enough to drive anyone BARKING MAD!

Get it? You get it. Time for chat!
That video left me in a Dance Hall Daze.
i un-ironically love that song.
So do I!
Ohhhh! I Saw Topher! I Saw Topher!
Oh, Logan Echolls. Wang Chunging the night away won’t won’t help your tortured soul.
Man, thanks for that, I couldn’t figure out why I knew that scene!
The Chinese (?) subtitles were a nice touch.
Awe, sad. Seeing Logan reminded me that I’m about to start the 3rd season and apparently the transition to college castrated Logan’s edgy-ness like Han Solo’s in Jedi.
I’m awaiting those dvds with much trepidation, knowing that the I’ve apparently already watched the best of Veronica Mars (seasons 1 & 2, basically. They were SO good!)
I finished watching VMars in December, and while season 3 isn’t as great as the other 2, it was still very good television. I was just upset when I watched the final episode without realizing it was the final episode. I got up to put the next disc in and saw that there was no other disc. So I cursed really looudly, realized I am in my late-twenties, got embarrassed about being angry over a long canceled show, and went to a bar. Because drowning my “what happened to Veronica Mars” blues required Jameson.
LOVED V MARS! I miss it so much. Season 3 is still great fun, don’t worry!
No fear. Season 3 may not be as good as the other seasons, it is still pretty enjoyable. At times.
Currently rewatching season 2. I can rewatch this show forever.
Oh no! A Veronica Mars discussion! Must resist urge to complain about lack of closure!
It was very frustrating!
You know when you can Really complain about lack of closure? When you’re a Firefly fan. Can’t stop the signal…
Yay, VMars fans. Poor Logan indeed. This & Arrested Development are on frequent DVD rotation.
No, you get over canceled TV shows already!
Alvin and his brother’s, stealing the show as usual.
And Frankie Goes to Hollywood continues to be forgotten…
Before anyone gets any bad joke ideas, relax. Don’t do it.
Just for you…
Wait – what was that at 1:25? I know ALL the other references, but I feel culturally inadequate.
Veronica Mars (thanks ambarella)
Phew! Thanks! I was afraid I was getting old, and age scares me!
Wow, I like an awful lot of those shows. Have I harbored a secret love for Wang Chung jokes all these years? A love so forbidden, so scorned by society, that I was forced to bury it deep within my soul, never to see the light?
i am a superfan of easter eggs and i didn’t see a single one in this video! what a jip!
2:05, TVparty. Pleased to be of assisstance.
OH I SEE IT NOW

I saw that and thought “What is wrong with Donna? Is Donna in the 90s?”.
I hear Nick Madson does a really funny bit about Paz Easter Egg Decoration Kits.
Let me get this straight: WANG CHUNG made a retrospective compilation of WANG CHUNG moments in order to sell a WANG CHUNG single that references their time as the hit band WANG CHUNG?
No, Gabe made this and just really likes Wang Chung.
I was just looking on Wang Chung’s wikipedia page and interestingly enough it says the band was originally named Penis Chan.
that’s hilarious…
I came for the MST3K reference and left satisfied.
They made love in their Chevy van and that’s NOT alright with me!
I think Topher Grace has been doing a LOT of Wang-Chunging lately…
Is that a euphemism for suxxing buttz?
Not to look a gift supercut in the mouth, but the snowboarding movie “Out Cold” totally has a Wang Chung reference delivered by none other than Zach Galifianakis. Just sayin’.
Chris Parnell made a reference on SNL. “Everybody Chug Wang, tonight!”
