In other Saturday Night Live news, we’d just like to tip our chapeaus (or is it chapeaux?) to John Mulaney for starting work as a writer at SNL this week. If you’ve never seen him perform stand up, see him perform stand up. The kid (he’s actually 12) is going to be so famous, it’s going to be nuts. And if you think it doesn’t matter who writes SNL, you’re not allowed to watch 30 Rock anymore.

C’est chapeaux.
Bienvenue. (You’re welcome.)
as somebody who’s been lucky enough to see him perform five or six times, i’ve been saying since the first time that he is the next Conan, Leno, or Letterman.
Please enjoy Mulaney’s wikipedia bio, if you have not already:

he’s so adorable and funny.
congrats to him.
this will bring honor to his family.
I was good friends with his sister in high school. she is also one of the funniest people I’ve ever met – their whole family is just completely incredible. the mulaneys will collectively rule the world one day. also, on a creepier note, when I would sleep over at her house, I would sleep in his bed because he was always off in new york.
