Obviously, what the world needs is a movie project about John DeLorean, the maverick automaker famed for the futuristic car that bears his name. But does the world need FOUR movie projects about the maverick automaker famed for the futuristic car that bears his name? From Reuters:

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Two of John DeLorean’s children are backing rival movie projects about the maverick automaker famed for the futuristic car that bears his name.

In all, at least four projects are in various stages of development.

Kathryn DeLorean, the latest entrant, is partnering with a consortium of producers on a film written by “Saw IV” scribe Thomas Fenton.

Whoops, Kathryn DeLorean, that is your scribe. Obviously, this is too many movie projects about the maverick automaker famed for the futuristic car that bears his name. And yet, it’s not impossible that all of them will get made. Hollywood is, after all, a 24-hour Mistake Factory, and this would take up very little space on the line (the mistake line). Let’s put it this way, if Hollywood had one of those “It Has Been BLANK Days Since Our Last Mistake” signs hanging in the break room, four John DeLorean biopics at the same time wouldn’t have any effect on that sign!

But the question now is who should play the car?

Yup. This is definitely the dumbest thing I have ever done.
