When you’re a kid, you’re taught that bullies only taunt you because they have low self-esteem. It’s not until much later that you realize bullies only taunt you because they can, and it’s fun. Self-esteem. Come on. Who has self-esteem? Anyway, sexman finally got braces.
Oh, that’s totally going to shut the haters up. Perfect. Sexman is like the Eminem of teen vloggers. He lays it all out there so that you’ve got no ammo left. Hippidi-hoo-blah.

the mixture of sad and embarrassed and revolted is almost more than my emotional wiring can handle.
why the hell is puberty such an asshole? and why don’t that kid’s parents love him enough to explain how middle school works and save him some pain?

In sexman’s defense, his movie review vlogs do get a lot of hateful comments about his teeth. So this is probably for the best.

That was painful. The braces are going to help, I mean when the teeth finally get together & all, but he’ll never have an easy time of it.
He’s going to get used to them and then he will sound normal.
I can’t really defend sexman because I find his videos annoying. But, at the same time, I wouldn’t make fun of his teeth (I had to wear braces twice, and my teeth weren’t nearly as bad as his). I do think it’s really stupid that people would make video responses making fun of his teeth, like there was nothing else worth commenting on, because those people come off looking like assholes.
I also had to wear braces twice. That sucked. I do hate this guy, but I do think it’s great that he finally got braces, I hated having them but loved it once they came off and my teeth looked normal. I think it’s stupid that people go through the effort to make video responses to anything, but especially if it’s just to make fun of someone’s teeth. That is dumb. And I’ve seen people with way worse teeth.
Now sexman will be the total package.
All kidding aside, there’s something about this guy. He’s got that certain “I don’t know what”. And he seems like a good person.
I’d hit it.
I’m actually impressed someone watching and commenting on YouTube knew how to reference a wonderful Simpsons episode in a proper way.
