Oh man, do you guys remember that movie starring John Travolta and Sidney PoitierHarry Belafonte? In which the conceit was just “wouldn’t it be crazy if racism happened to white people instead of black people”? Because the only way to make the sheeple understand that racism is awful is to see it happen to John Travolta. “Wait a second, it turns out our historical reliance on the systemic subjugation of minorities is OUTRAGEOUS! Thank you, movie made for third-graders!” That movie was the worst. Unlike this video, which is the best. (Same basic plot, though, probably.)

Are the robots racist or are they just trying to make an honest living in a brown man’s world? We should institute a policy ensuring those robots are considered for higher paying professions such as robo-accountants and robo-teachers. Then we can work to ensure that more white robots make it into the best robo-colleges.
This would have been a better ending for Spielberg’s AI than the one he ended up using.

Holy shit, the official tagline for that movie is “Reality Just Changed Sides”. I there was a BNPG based around making taglines for White Man’s Burden, this would be the winner.
I seriously was trying to remember this movie and explain it to someone not that long ago! Unfortunately, I was a mere child when I watched it (why? did my parents force me? who knows), and I could not remember the name or any stars. Thank you, Videogum, for revealing the details of this ridiculous cinematic piece of my past.
