When Absolut vodka paid Zach Galifianakis to make ads for their vodka, they didn’t seem to realize that while his short films with Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim might not appeal to your average appletini consumer, there would be no advertising more successful with the unwashed late night comedy crowd. And that’s doubly true if the ad sprawls into a seven minute long Brechtian sketch featuring an ad within an ad and a tearful food fight.

When I need to settle down after a long day of Being Kanye, I have a frostingtini made with Absolut vodka and cookies that a comedian stepped on.

  1. All’s fair in love and vodka. I could watch the food fight on repeat until my laptop overheats from amazingness.

  2. Zach is great, but it’d be nice to see him do a bit where the main joke is something other than him suddenly yelling.
