“Interaction between humans and aliens comes with a lot more complications to it than putting someone in a box and closing the lid and transporting them into a different species.” Whatever you say, Buzz Aldrin.

  1. Is it sad that I read the topic and for a second I thought it was going to be a review from Buzz Lightyear and that, that made me really really excited?
    (don’t answer, I know it’s sad)

  2. Whatever, Buzz Aldrin was probably molested by an Avatar as a kid or something.

  3. lots of respect for Mr. Aldrin, but this interview was ripped from the pages of Dumbed-Down Opinion Aficionado.

  4. See what you did, Neil. Look upon your creation. Before you had to get all “FIRST!”, he was a sane man.

  5. Wasn’t the Moon landing fake? Pot calling the Avatar black, if you ask me.

  6. what buzz really means to say, is rather than putting someone into a box and closing the lid, we need to develop more effective space suits to interact with aliens, so they will respect us

  7. You guys leave Buzz Aldrin. He knows his shit about blue people….

  8. I was at a talk once and Buzz Aldrin was in the very small audience. When it ended, I wanted to shake his hand, and he snubbed me! He saw me heading for him — and he pretended to be suddenly engrossed in a flyer about the event that had just ended, and he ran out of the room!
Ever since, when I tell this story, I snub him right back: I tell people it was Neil Armstrong who refused to shake my hand.

  9. Wait, when did Buzz Aldrin interact with aliens? Why does he get to be the expert?

I met him once, too. I don’t think he shook my hand, but signed a glossy photo that’s sitting in some drawer in my closet at my parents’ house.

  10. Corny dialogue? Alien sex? Horrifically plagiarized plot? No. SCIENTIFIC PLAUSIBILITY. Buzz Aldrin is a realist, you guys, and I love it.
