When the Mariners of the future make their underwater diving expeditions to explore the Lost World of the Land People, and they come upon the remnants of Videogum, their hover-scholars will name 2009 the Year of the Commenter. That is a pretty realistic depiction of the future I just made up that I’m certain will become a true reality, don’t doubt it. Because the commenting community really grew this year in cool and great ways, that is just a FACT (and if there is one thing that the hover-scholars of the Water Future love it is FACTS. FACTS and urine refiltered into potable drinking water). Most of the top threads this year were Best New Party Games, which makes sense. Who doesn’t love to party?! But Best New Party Games only work when there is someone to play them, and that someone is you guys. The monsters. It’s like they always say: “behind every good blog there is a great monsters.” So let us take a trip down memory lane and remember all of the good times we had together, as a FAMILY, how about it?!
