Normally, English teachers will advise you to avoid the passive voice, but I think we can all agree that this YouTube description is perfectly written: “Tiger’s wife is manfully defended by him in relation to the roll she recently played in a traffic accident.” Good sentence! Great video!

I’m pretty sure that video was the uncanny valley of ironic/satirical youtube videos. It has all of the characteristics of a totally ironic, intentionally horrible video, but I detected just enough sincerity in it that it left me feeling emotionless and hollow because I don’t know whether to laugh or just feel sad.
