The Kids in the Hall have a new 8-part series called Death Comes to Town (trailer here) that is scheduled to begin airing in Canada in January, 2010. Point Canada.

I went sledding in a foot of fresh snow this weekend, and there’s a weeklong curling tournament in my city starting today. I think that’s worth an extra point to Canada.

He’s in the trailer, but barely. I see him at 1:20 on a porch, then 1:55 next to the camera guy.He might be the woman screaming at the dead guy in the mailbox too, but I’m not sure.

That is him screaming at the mailbox in drag, yes. Also, Bellini! Yay, I forgot how much I loved Kids in the Hall. I used to watch that shit like it was my job (it sort of was. I watched it ALL summer long when I was about 14 and Comedy Central showed it 20 times a day).
But, as we are reminded whenever Gabe uses a Hulu video, Canadians cannot watch Hulu. So even-steven or point USA? Kids Court.
Every time Videogum-man uses Hulu I die a little inside, and hate the fact that I am not living in America because I cannot watch a Juggalo SNL sketch. Point to the U.S, indeed, you and your wonderful teeth make me sick!

It looks a little League of Gentlemen-y to me. By which i mean it looks like the British dark comedy League of Gentlemen with the small town and the death and the hit or miss funny. JUST KIDDING! LoG was a hit all the way!

Saying the Kids in the Hall look like the League of Gentlemen is like saying Monty Python looks like Mr. Show. Whaaaa? There’s an order here!
I am aware of order, it is just when i think of murders and blood and death in a quirky little spit of a town I think of Royston Vasey…now if we were talking of a populace untroubled by the fact that their happiness pill comes at the expense of the health of others than I might think of Kid in The Hall.
Obviously this will not be as dark as LofG (#1 it is always Sunny in Canada…except for winter) and be far more silly. and I am excited, I?m just a bit wary of possible disappointment.
Also Dave Foley: I?m sorry I doubted you. I hope the Disney/ABC Special does well.
