At this point, a newscaster breaking character and using toilet talk is nothing new, but for some reason it’s still funny. Maybe it’s because the facade of an arbiter of truth who speaks without a regional accent and never seems to sweat, like some kind of News Robot from Planet Specs Howard, is so patently fake that it’s just nice to see them become human again. And maybe it’s because he says “I’m dyin in this country ass fucked up town.”
