The New Kids On The Block are like the Mission Impossible crew: when one of them sends out a text message saying “it’s on,” they all have to get in their fancy cars, helicopters, and yachts, and go to a beach house to sing about summer flings while anonymous women dance around them. They also have a surprisingly detailed collective memory for the outfits these flings wore all those years ago when the bottles were cool and the beach was hot (“flip flops, half shirt, short-shorts, miniskirt.”) Also, they’re old:

wow – after all the comments above – I wonder what these people think now after almost a year of their successful comeback – it’s way too obvious that the guys still have it – anyways, as they say you cannot please everybody… NKOTB have great, stable and loyal fan base. That’s why they will make it whenever, wherever. This supposedly “for moms” video/song FYI was number one. And I have met 15 and 16 year old fans as well….
