I’ve heard nothing but great things about this documentary, and it looks like there’s a reason for that.

  1. Seems interesting. Kinda curious to see the rest and find out why Wheezy isn’t going to support it.

    • I’m gonna guess the reason he doesn’t want it to be shown is because he lives in some sort of sizzurp and cannabis induced haze. He’s gotta forget things he says/does 5 minutes after they are said/done. When he watched a screening of the film I’m sure his actions and his overall demeanor frightened the hell out of him and was kinda put-off by the whole project. Either that or he wanted to invoke some sort of controversy about the film to get it off the ground. “The Documentary about Lil Wayne Lil Wayne Doesn’t Want You To See”

  2. I will watch because 1. Lil’ Wayne has a briefcase. 2. Lil’ Wayne has a bottle of vitamin water (it’s cough syrup) and a wad of cash in that briefcase.

  3. Hidden due to low comment rating. Click here to see.

  4. Not sure if this is bad to post here, but the entire thing is streaming over here: http://thisis50.com/video/the-carter-documentary-about

  5. Whenever I see Li’l Wayne I’m always reminded how I wasn’t able to tell him NOT to get those neck tattoos, those many years ago.
It looks like someone spit ink on his neck, then he asked a prison inmate tattoo artist to trace over the ink stains.

  6. So I just finished it. It’s somewhat fun and entertaining until about an hour in, when they catch up with him a few months after the initial shooting while he’s recording Rebirth. Then it becomes horrifying. Dude is in a really really bad place right now. I can see why he doesn’t like the movie.

    Great movie though, highly recommended.

  7. This movie was excellent. Fave doc. of the year.
He is just as fascinating as he is crazy, which is very.

  8. “and the mets fired willie randolph today.”
